ASK Program Departemnt

The objective of the ASK Program is to approach the general problem of HIV/AIDS, offering students or recent graduates (interns) the opportunity of a rigorous internship program in Prilep, Republic of Macedonia. Their work will focus on offering youth peer education in high schools.In this way, trainees and AIESEC members involved in this project will become a generation of dynamic HIV/AIDS leaders and they will support indirectly the creation of awareness within youth.

This program will start at 20.05.2009 and will end till 15.07.2009. The project will contain a few session for the students of different hight schools in Prilep, Bitola and Berovo. The project officer is Marissa Polnerow, and the sessions will be done by internacional developmnet trainer from Singapur. This DT is Elaine Teo.

NVO Vizija - Resen

NVO Vizija Resen is a new partner of AIESEC LC Prilep. NVO Vizija is one NGO from Resen that will help us to connect with the students of that region.

1.AIESEC in the Republic of Macedonia

AIESEC in the Republic of Macedonia was founded in 1953 as part of AIESEC in Yugoslavia. In 1991, AIESEC in the Republic of Macedonia was established as a separate organization in its own right with the fall of the Yugoslav Republic.
Today, we operate from 4 offices with more than 80 active members:
• Member Committee, Economic Chamber of Commerce, Skopje
• Local Committee Skopje, Faculty of Economics, Skopje
• Local Committee Ohrid, Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality, Ohrid
• Local Committee Prilep, Faculty of Economics, Prilep
Through the Learning Experience we provide for our members, by addressing specific issues and trends, we are able to develop the kind of people our community needs, the kind of people that are prepared to take the risks and face the current and future challenges of the Macedonian Transitioning Society.
AIESEC in the Republic of Macedonia provides issue based experiences built around Entrepreneurship, Education, Tourism and Information Technology that aim to increase the awareness and knowledge of all involved stakeholders in these areas. See more www.aiesec.org.mk
